As a health care professional, I am always on the lookout for useful, practical and “value for money” products for mums and new parents. It is widely known that during pregnancy the joints of the body, including pelvis and spine, become more flexible and mobile to assist in the birth of the baby. As a Lactation Consultant, I see a lot of women who experience painful nipples as a result of vasospasm. I also see many women with sore and cracked nipples, which are further aggravated by the removal of ordinary breast pads that stick to their nipples. I have found that the Lanowool breast pads with lanolin prevent nipples sticking which helps heal the nipples more effectively.
