Mothercraft for Babies

Trusted by Paediatricians, the Mothercraft nursing team is dedicated to helping you better enjoy your parenting experience by teaching you the necessary skills that will build your confidence in your own abilities.

They help understand the cause of any feeding/sleeping/developmental or behavioural concerns with your baby or toddler, then show you an age appropriate approach to achieve your goals. The approach is responsive, nurturing and supportive to both children and parents.

After consultation, you will be recommended the most suitable support and advice by way of home visit or phone consultations. They can be booked as specific packages and include post visit, phone or email support. You will be provided the most suitably experienced nurse for your needs, subject to availability.

Mothercraft for Babies work across the Sydney metro, Blue Mountains, Newcastle and Central Coast areas.

Lucy Kemp

Lucy is a counsellor who specialises in infertility, pregnancy loss, pre- and post-natal anxiety & trauma.

A difficult or even traumatic birth experience, sleep deprivation, loss of identity, or feeling like a “failure” when breastfeeding and settling a baby do not happen easily are just some of the very normal issues for a new mother that can be difficult to talk about and can create anxiety. In my counselling practice, I offer support to new mothers to alleviate this anxiety by normalising their experience and giving them a safe environment to talk about their particular challenges in adapting to motherhood.
